Marlon Townsen

Marlon Townsen is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Architect III at the Chicago Transit Authority since February 2024. As the Founder and Principal Designer of Townsen Architects Inc. since February 2009, Marlon leads a boutique design-build firm specializing in various design disciplines including architecture, interior design, and construction. Previous roles include Project Architect at NORR, where Marlon managed a team for a 20-story mixed-use development, and Project Manager/BIM Manager at Hutton & Hutton Architects & Engineers, focusing on Revit standards and project management. Marlon has also held notable positions at firms such as Brook Architecture and CannonDesign, contributing to projects through BIM consulting and architectural design. Education includes a Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
