Steven Ballard

In this position, Steven joins the CMAA family as an Adult Education administrative support unit. He organizes, collaborates, and manages CMAA’s Adult Education classes and he works closely with the Adult Education instructors to help test, register and outreach existing and potential students. In addition, Steven is also responsible for managing quarterly reports and data entry for the Adult Education grant funders.

Steven comes to CMAA with over eight years of teaching experience, half of which comes from teaching abroad. He has lived, worked, and studied in four different countries as an English as a Second Language teacher to the youth. When he stayed in the states he would teach Adult Learners at various institutions. Steven studied abroad at the Oxford Teachers Academy, learned Mandarin at the University of Chicago, and obtained a Diversity and Inclusion in Leadership Certification from Cornell University.
