Karl E. Mayer

Karl E. Mayer is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience in art direction and creative management. Currently serving as the Creative Director for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma since July 2022, Karl previously held significant roles such as Sr. Creative Manager (ACD) at JCPenney from May 2010 to May 2022, and Creative Director at CLAD Inc. in 2011. Additionally, positions include Brand Design Manager and Creative Director at TONI&GUY from 2006 to 2010, Advertising Art Director at D Magazine Partners in 2006, Art Director at Harold's from 2004 to 2006, and Art Director at both Legion Advertising Agency and Raiz Creative in 2003-2004. Karl E. Mayer earned a BFA in Communication Design with a concentration in Art Direction from Texas State University and completed education at Jesuit College Prep of Dallas.
