Tara Welch

Tara Welch currently serves as the Chief of Staff at Choose Chicago, where responsibilities include acting as a thought partner to the CEO and collaborating with the leadership team on the organizational business plan, budget, and KPIs. Previously, Tara was the Director of Program Operations at Global Cities, Inc., leading programmatic operations and developing a cross-functional team. Earlier roles included Chief of Staff at Global Cities, where special projects were executed on behalf of the President, and Special Assistant to the President at Robin Hood, focusing on collaboration with various stakeholders. Tara also founded SORT Professional Organizing and worked as an educator for Chicago Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago, a Master of Education from DePaul University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University.
