Nicolò Vianello

Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions, particularly in the education technology sector. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has progressed from a firmware engineer to an electrical engineer, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previous roles include work as an electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibility included electronics design and repair, and a teaching assistant role at the University of Calgary, supporting engineering labs and assessments. Chris's earlier experience as an electronics engineer at Grindcom involved circuit design and software development for control systems in the forestry industry. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
