Marco Naveda

Marco Naveda is a seasoned professional in network architecture and optical transport, currently serving as Sr. Director of Network Architecture at Ciena since March 2010. Marco has held various leadership positions including Principal in the Office of the CTO and Sr. Advisor for Portfolio Strategy at Ciena. Prior experience includes roles as Optical R&D Leader at Nortel and positions involving photonic switching at Xros/Nortel. Marco's career began at BNR - Richardson in software management and development roles related to wireless and access technologies. Academic achievements include a Master's degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, along with a Technologist diploma in Electronics from Loyalist College.
