Peter Dipierro

Peter DiPierro is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in telecommunications and operations management. Currently serving as Executive Director at Ciena, Peter leads teams in complex circuit migrations and network enhancements. Previously, Peter held significant leadership roles at Juniper Networks, managing Verizon accounts with substantial revenue support, and at Genband, overseeing service and operations across North America and the Caribbean. Peter's foundational experience includes over two decades at Nortel in various executive positions, driving customer service and operational performance while supporting major telecommunications accounts. Peter holds a Doctor of Science degree from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, an MBA in Strategic Planning/Finance from Pace University, and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
