Todd Ponsky

Todd Ponsky serves as the Chief Innovation Officer and Professor of Surgery at Cincinnati Children's, with an additional role as Interim Vice President of Innovation Ventures. Since April 2018, Todd has also contributed as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of GlobalCastMD. Prior experience includes a position as a Pediatric Surgeon at Akron Children's Hospital since May 2012 and former roles as Director of Minimally Invasive Pediatric Surgery and Associate Professor of Surgery at University Hospitals from January 2008 to May 2012. Earlier career highlights include completing a Neonatal MIS fellowship at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children in late 2007, a Pediatric Surgery fellowship at Children's National Health System from July 2005 to June 2007, and a General Surgery residency at The George Washington University Hospital from July 1999 to June 2005. Todd earned an MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1999.
