Dr. Prasanna Bangale

Dr. Prasanna Bangale currently serves as the Head of Regulatory for India at Cipla, overseeing Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Assurance & Licensing, Operations, and Training since 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Bangale held the position of Vice President and Head of Global Regulatory Affairs at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited from 2019 to 2022, where responsibilities included providing strategic regulatory and scientific inputs and identifying regulatory challenges. Previous experience includes Director roles in Regulatory Affairs at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health and Mundipharma Pte. Limited, as well as Head of Regulatory Affairs for Bayer and MSD across the Asia Pacific Region. Dr. Bangale's educational background features a Ph.D. in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai, alongside several other advanced qualifications in management and foreign trade.
