Sharad Joshi

Sharad Joshi is currently serving as Sr Vice President - Global Head Engineering & Projects at Cipla since December 2023. Before this role, Sharad held various leadership positions at BASF from October 2013 to December 2023, including Head of Global Engineering & IT Center and Digitalization Asia, where responsibilities encompassed leading high-value engineering and digitalization initiatives in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to BASF, Sharad was Engineering Manager at Invensys India Pvt Ltd and Project Manager at Emerson Export Engineering Centre, with earlier experience at Reliance Industries Ltd and Central India Pvt Ltd. Sharad began a professional career as a Trainee Engineer at Gujarat Ambuja Industries Ltd. Academic qualifications include a Masters Programme in Management Essentials from the Indian School of Business and a B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control from the University of Poona.
