Daniela Florez

Daniela Florez is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in wood chemistry and the valorization of natural substances, currently serving as a chercheure at CIRAD since March 2023. Prior to this role, Florez held a postdoctoral research position in wood science at LERMAB from April 2021 to March 2023. Daniela's background includes project development in food powder measurement methods at Laboratoire Réactions et Génie des Procédés and managing environmental processes for the Agence Départementale de la Santé de Cundinamarca. Florez's academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Process and Product Engineering from Universite de Lorraine, along with master's and undergraduate degrees from ENSIC and Universidad de los Andes. Florez has also received recognition as a laureate in a community entrepreneurship competition and has participated in various internships focusing on product development and crystallization processes.
