Joe Deangelo

Joe DeAngelo is an accomplished biotechnologist with extensive experience across various leadership roles in the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industries. Serving as Chief Scientific Officer at CircNova, Inc since July 2023, Joe focuses on developing circular RNA biotherapeutics using deep tech AI for undruggable disease targets. Previously, Joe was Managing Director at Scizyg LLC, where strategic consulting was directed toward biotech startups and product development. Additional roles include Strategic Advisor at Great Lakes Biologics and New York University, Chief Operating Officer at Phenolaeis USA LLC, and CEO at Neochrome Inc., among others. Joe holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has a robust background in clinical development, regulatory affairs, and innovative biomedical research.
