Alyssa Esparaz

Alyssa Esparaz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in content creation, public relations, and advocacy. Currently serving as the Content and Public Relations Manager at Compassion Canada since May 2016, Alyssa leads a team dedicated to crafting compelling content that engages supporters and raises awareness about poverty and injustice. Previously, Alyssa held roles as a Writer & Communicator and Advocacy Associate at Compassion Canada, focusing on inspiring action among Canadians and developing educational resources. Alyssa also coordinated youth ministry at The Meeting House and founded Freedom Creations, a social enterprise that donates profits to combat modern-day slavery. Educational credentials include an Honours Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from the University of Toronto Scarborough, alongside a Certificate in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion from UBC, and current studies for a Master of Communications Management at McMaster University.
