Michael Konopaski

Michael Konopaski, CPA, CFP, CIM, PhD, ICD.D, is a highly experienced finance professional with a diverse background in compliance, advisory, and education. Currently serving as Co-Founder, Director, and Officer at Designed Wealth Management since May 2021, Michael has also held numerous influential roles within the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Investment Industry Association of Canada (IIAC) since 1998. With a strong academic foundation, including a PhD from Lancaster University and multiple credentials in accounting and corporate governance, Michael has contributed as a senior lecturer at Ontario Tech University and Trent University, showcasing expertise in entrepreneurship and finance. Key previous positions include Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Aligned Capital Partners Inc., as well as Managing Director at Inclusive Advisory since July 1995.
