Dan Bindman

Dan Bindman is an experienced professional specializing in AI and adaptive learning. Currently serving at Cisco since January 2022, Dan is focused on implementing an open-source PKS Knowledge Assessment & Adaptive Learning Model. Prior to this role, Dan was the Chief Data Scientist at Squirrel AI Learning by Yixue Group from April 2018 to January 2022, where the optimization of a multi-dimensional knowledge model was a key responsibility. Dan has also held academic positions, including Adjunct Professor at West Coast University and Adjunct Math Instructor at Coastline Community College. With a robust background in data science, Dan held roles such as Director of Data Science at Ready4 and Editorial Director at ALEKS Corporation, where leadership in math content and curriculum development was significantly impactful. Dan's educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from UC Irvine in Math Behavioral Sciences and a BS from UCLA in Math Applied Science.
