Gary Depreta

Gary DePreta is an experienced executive in the technology sector with a focus on public sector and defense markets. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for the U.S. Public Sector at Cisco since April 2019, Gary previously held significant roles such as Area Vice President for both U.S. Public Sector SLED at Cisco and Defense, Intelligence, and Aerospace at Splunk. Gary's earlier experience includes leadership positions at SimpliVity Corporation and Cisco Systems, where roles encompassed directing national security operations, federal civilian agencies, public sector channels, and managing channel operations. Gary also served as Vice President & General Manager at INS, leading multiple business units in the Washington, DC, and Philadelphia markets. Gary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Electronic Science from Iona University.
