Mehrdad Shirangi

Mehrdad Shirangi is a seasoned leader in Data Science and AI, currently serving as the Data Science & AI Leader for Supply Chain at Cisco since January 2022, where the focus is on creating advanced AI and GenAI products that enhance supply chain operations. Prior experience includes a role as Sr Manager at Baker Hughes, developing AI technologies for fluid management in drilling operations, and as Sr Staff Data Scientist at GE, leading a team dedicated to designing cloud-native SaaS products for energy companies. Educational credentials include a PhD in AI/Optimization from Stanford University and a Master’s from The University of Tulsa, complemented by a dual Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
