Verna Ruth

Verna Ruth, CDM, CFPP, currently serves as the Director of Dietary at Citadel Care Centers, a position held since July 2022. With extensive experience in food and nutrition management, Verna has held leadership roles at various organizations, including Kindred, Morrison Healthcare, and AVI Foodsystems. Prior to these positions, Verna developed culinary skills at Lakeland Regional Health-Florida, Disney Parks & Resorts, John's Island Club, and Studio 1221. Verna began a career in healthcare as a Radiographer at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, showcasing a diverse background that includes both culinary arts and radiologic technology. Verna earned an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from Salisbury University and an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from Wor-Wic Community College.
