Catherine Kutas

Catherine Kutas has extensive experience in compliance and financial market surveillance, currently working at Citadel Securities since June 2022. Prior to this role, Catherine served as Director of Surveillance Research and Data Analysis at FINRA from December 2013 to May 2022, where responsibilities included developing prototypes for detecting market manipulation and supporting legal cases through statistical analysis. Previous experience includes positions as a Surveillance Analyst at Liquidnet, a Consultant at Knight Capital Group, and Senior roles at Kellogg Specialist Group, Warner Music Group, and The Revere Group. Catherine holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology, a Machine Learning Certificate from Cornell University, a Graduate Certificate in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Systems and Process Control Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
