Augustine Cheung

Augustine Cheung, CAMS, CFCS, currently serves as the Canada Chief Sanctions Officer at Citi since September 2022. Prior to this role, Augustine accumulated extensive experience at HSBC Bank Canada from August 2010 to September 2022, holding positions such as Major Investigations, Head of Centre of Excellence for Sanctions, Senior Manager of Sanctions Advisory, Manager of Sanctions, and Senior Compliance Analyst. Augustine began the career as a Compliance Officer and Equity Trader at Swifttrade from January 2008 to July 2010. Augustine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Alberta, completed between 2004 and 2008.
