Giovanni Laureri

Giovanni Laureri has extensive experience in the financial services sector, primarily focusing on precious metals and commodities. Currently serving as the Global Head of Precious Metals Solutions at Citi since July 2014, Giovanni has held several leadership positions within the company, including Global Head of Bank Solutions and Head of Precious Metals and Commodities Banks Sales for EMEA. Prior to Citi, Giovanni worked at UBS Investment Bank as Executive Director for Precious Metals and Head of Commodities Marketing Zurich, and held director roles at Credit Suisse overseeing precious metals and commodities sales. Giovanni’s earlier roles include leadership in FX sales at Barclays Capital and RBS Markets & International Banking. Giovanni holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Université de Fribourg and has additional educational background from Institut Stavia.
