Lokesh Sharma

Lokesh Sharma is an accomplished data governance leader with extensive experience in the financial services and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Asia Data Governance Leader at Citi since April 2016, Lokesh is responsible for overseeing data governance initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory programs such as SG BCBS 239 and CBIRC. Prior to this role, Lokesh was the VP at the APAC Data Innovation Office, focusing on the adoption of Big Data and Analytics projects. Lokesh's earlier roles include Advisory Project Manager at IBM and Senior Software Engineer at HCL Technologies, following initial experience as a Software Engineer at Patni Computer Systems. Lokesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Power from Nagpur University and a Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC, ACTS Pune.
