Surendra Goyal

Surendra Goyal is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in equity research, particularly in the Indian IT and ITES sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of India Research at Citi since February 2012, Surendra leads equity strategy initiatives. Previously, Surendra held the position of Director at Citigroup Global Markets India Pvt Ltd from August 2006 to February 2012, focusing on equity research in Indian IT services. Surendra began the career as an Analyst at ABN Amro Asia in 2003, advising on European IT software and services investments, and later worked as Vice President of Research at SSKI, advising institutional clients. Educational credentials include a PGDM in Finance and IT from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a BE in Computer Science from Jadavpur University.
