Citizens National Bank is the largest community bank in Northern Michigan.  The Bank was established on January 24, 1931 and has been operating under the same name and at the same location  in Cheboygan ever since. The Bank  has 8 full-service branches located in Cheboygan, Emmet and Presque Isle counties;.
The Bank is owned entirely by CNB Corporation, a publicly owned company. As of December 30, 2020  CNB Corporation had approximately 1,000 shareholders. The shareholders of CNB Corporation reside principally within the Bank’s market area of Cheboygan, Presque Isle and Emmet counties. The Bank’s main office is in Cheboygan with additional full service branches  located in Onaway, Mackinaw City, Indian River, Alanson, and Petoskey.  In the Village of Pellston, located in Emmet County, the branch is a 24-hour  E- Branch.

As a community bank, Citizens National takes pride in contributing to the communities it serves, not only monetarily but in service as well.  The directors, officers and staff are involved in over 83 local non profit organizations and donated over 2914 hours of their time and expertise in 2019.
