Laura Swartz

Laura Swartz serves as the Director of Communications and Administration for the Department of Finance at the City and County of Denver, a position held since September 2016. Additionally, Laura has experience as the Director of Communications for Denver's Community Planning and Development (CPD) department and previously worked as a Communications Specialist in the same department. Before joining the City and County of Denver, Laura was a Senior Research Writer at Crystal Research Associates from July 2006 to December 2016, where responsibilities included technical writing and research services. Laura holds a B.S. and B.A. in Business Management and English from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning with a focus on Sustainable Cities from Florida Atlantic University. Education was also attained at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts.
