McKenzie Brandon serves as an Assistant City Attorney at the City and County of Denver since September 2021, following a fellowship position. Prior experience includes a law clerk role at Bendinelli Law Firm, P.C., where responsibilities encompassed legal research and drafting various legal documents. As a student attorney at the University of Colorado Law School, McKenzie contributed to legislative amendments and client assistance in business structuring. Additional roles ranged from conducting legal research to facilitating communication at Metro Volunteer Lawyers, investigating lead-based paint hazards at Haltran Environmental Services, and educating youth on wildlife as an Environmental Educator. Academically, McKenzie holds a Doctor of Law from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Ecology and Management from Louisiana State University.
