Doug Waterman

Doug Waterman is the Owner and Publisher of Bellevue City Lifestyle in Tennessee, a role assumed in May 2023. With extensive experience in music publishing, Waterman has operated Battles Wharf Music since 2008, with a catalog administered by Hipgnosis Songs Group, featuring notable artists and the successful song "Workin' On" by Colt Ford. Waterman has also served as an Administered Songwriter for Hipgnosis Song Management, a Professional Member of The Recording Academy, and held significant roles at American Songwriter, including Associate Publisher and Editor-In-Chief, contributing to the publication's growth and editorial direction. Additional experience includes positions as Co-Founder/Director of A&R at Songspace, and a freelance journalist for various prominent music publications. Waterman holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from The University of the South and has international study experience at the University of Oxford.
