Cynthia Pyun is an accomplished legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in capital markets and risk management. Currently, Cynthia serves as the Head of Capital Markets Risk, Regulatory & Compliance at City National Bank since March 2022. Previously, Cynthia held the position of Director & Assistant General Counsel at MUFG from January 2013 to February 2022, where Cynthia co-led the Global Corporate & Investment Bank Lending & Capital Markets Legal Team. Cynthia's early career includes roles as a Senior Associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and as an Associate at Thelen Reid & Priest LLP. Cynthia earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Relations from Stanford University.
