Janet R. Silva, MA, currently serves as the Acting Chief Administrative Officer and Equity and Inclusion Program Manager for the City of Austin, leading the Diversity Initiatives Division within the HR department. With a rich background in diversity recruitment and program management, Janet has held various roles, including HR Payroll Business Consultant at Paychex and Area Market Manager for Kaplan Test Prep. Janet's expertise spans marketing, territory management, and multicultural communications, demonstrated through prior positions such as Director of Diversity Enrollment Solutions and Senior Recruiter at Texas Tech University. Janet holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma, an MA in Public Administration from Mid-America Christian University, and a Diversity and Inclusion Certification from Cornell University.
