Lauren Middleton-Pratt

Lauren Middleton-Pratt is an experienced planning and development professional currently serving as the Planning Director for the City of Austin since May 2023. Previously, Lauren held the position of Assistant City Manager in the City of Buda, TX, from April 2019 to April 2023. Prior roles include Portfolio Advisor and Associate Director at JLL, Project Manager at the Boston Planning & Development Agency, and Development Planner for the City of Newton. Lauren's career also encompasses various positions in housing and event management, including roles at the Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership and the City of San Antonio. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in City, Community and Regional Planning from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Business Administration from Xavier University of Louisiana.
