Paul Evans

Paul Evans is a seasoned professional in the building and construction industry, currently serving as the Chief Building Official for the City of Barrie since June 2021. With prior experience as Chief Building Official for the Town of Erin and managerial roles with The Corporation of The Town of Aurora and the Corporation of the Town of Newmarket, Paul has extensive expertise in building services and plans examination. Paul founded Interior Technical Solutions Inc. in 1994, specializing in the production of construction documents for various professionals. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Architectural Technical Studies from George Brown College and ongoing training from multiple institutions, including the Ontario Building Officials Association.
