Brendan Pizzala

Brendan Pizzala is an accomplished safety professional with extensive experience in occupational health and safety. Currently serving as the Chief Safety Officer and Occupational Health and Safety Specialist for the City of Battle Creek, Michigan since January 2017, Brendan has also held positions as Logistics and Sustainability Liaison at Calhoun County Joint Operations Center, Environmental, Health and Safety Supervisor at Bowers Manufacturing Company, and Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator at WKW Roof Rail Systems LLC. Brendan's career began in the US Navy, where responsibilities included operating and repairing sonar systems and supervising personnel in maintenance operations. Brendan's educational background includes a Doctor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, a Master's Degree, a Bachelor's Degree, and an Associate's Degree, all obtained from Columbia Southern University.
