Alison McCarthy

Alison McCarthy currently serves as a Permit Technician for the City of Beaufort, a position held since August 2024. Prior roles include Administrative Assistant at CRANSTON from May 2022 to September 2024, ARB Associate at Kiawah Partners from August 2021 to May 2022, Operations Support Representative at Jean D’Arc Credit Union from August 2018 to August 2021, and Loan Title Specialist at South State Bank from January 2021 to June 2021. Alison is pursuing a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at the University of Florida, with an expected completion date in September 2025, and holds a degree in Public and Community Service Studies from Providence College, completed in 2018. Alison also attended Stellenbosch University in 2017.
