Melissa Margain

Melissa Margain, CDVS-II, currently serves as the Public Defense Program Administrator for the City of Bellevue, Washington, and also holds several leadership roles including Deputy Director and Membership Director for the Seattle Chapter of the Truman National Security Project. As a Board Member for the Selective Service System and a Model City Mentor for Women Veterans ROCK!, Melissa demonstrates a commitment to community engagement and veteran support. In addition, Melissa is a member of the Board of Directors for Path with Art and is the Founder and Chief Signing Agent at K3 Signing Services. Previous experience includes serving as the Resilient Communities Policy and Community Engagement Manager for King County, WA, and as the Seattle Program Director for Minority Veterans of America. Notable earlier positions include leading the Reentry Department at The Last Mile and working as a Lead Impact Coach and Workshop Coordinator at Rubicon Programs Inc., emphasizing case management and participant support.
