Sammie Kuriyama

Sammie Kuriyama is an Assistant Land Use Planner at the City of Bellevue, Washington, with previous experience as an Assistant Planner at Barghausen Consulting Engineers, Inc., where Sammie assisted with due diligence research for development proposals and agency code reviews. Prior roles include a Utility GIS Intern at Seattle Public Utilities, creating infrastructure data and managing GIS projects, and various positions in customer service and academic support, including roles as a barista, information service specialist at the University of Washington, and sales cashier. Sammie holds a dual degree in Environmental Science & Resource Management and Community, Environment, Planning, along with a minor in Japanese from the University of Washington, and graduated from Punahou School.
