David Brauhn

David Brauhn currently serves as the Assistant Communications and Community Relations Director with an intergovernmental focus for the City of Bellingham since June 2024. Prior to this role, David was the Chief Executive at Brauhn, LLC, starting in 2011, and held various positions including Senior UX Designer at Armavel, LLC, from June 2021 to June 2024, and Director of Marketing at Bodegas Valdemar S.A. from December 2019 to June 2021. Additional experience includes serving as Communications Manager for the City of Walla Walla, Director/Associate Director of Communications at Whitman College, Presentation Editor at the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, and Evening Editor at Dickinson Press. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Writing from Dickinson State University, earned between 1994 and 1999, and attended Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2000-2001.
