Aleja Jimenez Jaramillo

Aleja Jimenez Jaramillo currently serves as the Director of Governance and Policy for the City of Boston, overseeing programs that align the Mayor’s vision with departmental technology needs. Previously held the role of Data Governance Fellow at the City of Boston, where a comprehensive IT governance model was developed. Aleja's experience includes managing media analytics at EDO Inc. and conducting user research at Bright Research Group, focusing on service delivery in healthcare and social services. Additionally, Aleja completed a fellowship at First Place For Youth, where business intelligence systems were established to enhance decision-making among staff. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Technology and Public Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology from Harvard University.
