Sandra Gordon

At the heart of everything Sandra does is one central aim – to give everyone a chance to be the best they can be and to bring balance and equality to those groups who are disadvantaged in the society. Sandra is a co-founder of Rise, a social enterprise which supports Black and Brown businesses, and provides personal development opportunities. She is also Director and Broadcaster at Ujima Radio and the strategic partner for the Black and Green Ambassadors programme.

Sandra has worked as a senior leader for a number of trusted brands including managing Calls Centres for Royal Mail. A career break allowed her to undertake voluntary work in Africa, job coaching the homeless, and to become an accredited Life Coach. The trip to Africa reignited her creative side and led to her starting a creative business where she works collectively with Artisans in Africa, which helps to supports their sustainability.
