Brennen Gilbert is a professional with diverse experience in food service, research management, and education. Currently serving as a Food Service Attendant for the City of Burnaby since June 2019, Brennen previously held the position of Assistant Research Manager at the Center for Sustainable Food Systems from January 2020 to January 2022, where critical research management activities were facilitated, including overseeing the research-proposal process and maintaining publication databases. Additionally, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia's Faculty of Forestry from June 2020 to January 2021, Brennen contributed to the adaptation of a first-year course to online delivery during the pandemic. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Cast Member at Landmark Cinemas Canada from December 2017 to September 2018. Brennen holds dual degrees from The University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Science in Global Resource Systems and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical, Near Eastern, and Religious Studies, both completed in 2023.
