Corey Kimpson, CPXP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in patient and family advocacy, community service, and recreation therapy. Currently serving as a member of the City Council for the City of Cambridge Ontario since November 2022, Corey is also actively involved with The Beryl Institute as a Global Patient and Family Advisory Board Member and has been a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council at Cambridge Memorial Hospital since April 2016. Until March 2023, Corey held the position of Chairperson at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and was the Volunteer Coordinator at Langs from October 2021 to October 2022. As the owner of Flag Raiders Paintball since 2002, Corey combines entrepreneurship with community engagement, also serving as a Community Ambassador during the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier roles include Board Member at Preston Towne Centre BIA and Recreation Therapy Planner at Grand River Hospital. Corey holds multiple certifications from The Beryl Institute in Patient Experience Leadership and Patient Advocacy, alongside a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Waterloo.
