Alonso Gonzalez

Alonso Gonzalez currently serves as the Deputy Mayor and City Council Member for District 3 in the City of Chula Vista, a position held since January 2023. With a background in real estate as a broker at Pac Pro Realty since January 2012, Alonso emphasizes innovation and value addition in property acquisition and development. Previously, Alonso held the role of Campaign Government Relations Manager at the Bay Area Council from May 2009 to May 2010, focusing on statewide initiatives for governmental reform. Alonso also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Council President in the City of San Diego from January 2001 to June 2009, participating in land use and housing policy. Alonso earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in History and Sociology from UC Santa Barbara.
