Edward Grant

Edward Grant currently serves as the Nighttime Economy Manager for the City of Dallas and as President of the Municipal Special Events Association, both positions held since August 2024. Previously, Edward held the role of Assistant Director for Special Events, Film & Tourism with the City of Savannah from January 2018 to November 2024, managing a $1.5 million operating budget and implementing effective operational controls. Prior experience includes significant roles within the Savannah Police Department from May 2001 to May 2021, where Edward transformed special event planning processes and orchestrated police department responses to permitted events. Edward is also pursuing a degree at the Savannah College of Art and Design, expected to graduate in May 2025.
