Trevor Brown

Chief Planner, Conservation Districts at City of Dallas

Trevor Brown is an experienced planning professional with a focus on conservation and historic preservation. Currently serving as Chief Planner for Conservation Districts at the City of Dallas since February 2018, Trevor has also held positions as Senior Planner in both the Office of Historic Preservation and Conservation Districts. Prior experience includes Deputy Director at the Historic Natchez Foundation and Deputy Director/Preservation Specialist at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, where Trevor managed a $26 million National Park Service grant for Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts. Trevor began a career in conservation as an Architectural Conservator Intern at John Milner Associates, Inc., contributing to projects that involved assessing and documenting historic structures. Trevor holds a B.A. in History from The University of Southern Mississippi and furthered education at Savannah College of Art and Design between 2004 and 2006.
