Kya Robertson

Kya Robertson, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Development Specialist in the Public Private Partnerships for the East Region within the Housing & Revitalization Department at the City of Detroit, a position held since January 2017. Previous roles include District Manager and Deputy District Manager, where Kya focused on strategic direction and implementation for community development projects. Kya's earlier experience includes positions as a Public Safety Officer at Universal Services of America, Home Health Specialist at Zepf Center, and Family Case Manager at Judson Center. Kya's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from The University of Toledo, a Master of Public Administration from South University, a Master of Philosophy from Walden University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration from Walden University.
