Luke Eckert

Luke Eckert is an experienced emergency management professional currently serving as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Duvall since June 2023, focusing on developing a Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and engaging the community in preparedness efforts. Luke also leads Wilderness First Responder and First Aid courses through AdventureMed, LLC, while previously holding various roles at Aspiro Wilderness Adventure Therapy, including Emergency Medical Manager and Wilderness Medical Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed emergency operations planning and crisis management. Additional experience includes service as an Emergency Medical Technician with Saranac Lake Volunteer Rescue Squad Inc. and as an Assistant Forest Ranger with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. Luke holds a Bachelor of Science in Disaster Management and Response from Paul Smith's College and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from North Country Community College.
