Julie Kelly

Julie Kelly has over 22 years of experience at the Elgin Police Department, serving as a Court Liaison Officer where responsibilities include liaising with the Kane County Court and State's Attorney's Office, representing the Police Department at bond hearings, managing bonds and fines, submitting warrant requests, and assisting in courtroom operations. Previously, Julie held the position of Lead Jailer, overseeing the daily operations of a municipal jail facility. In addition to law enforcement experience, Julie briefly worked as a Guest Liaison for actor Jed Brophy during Dragoncon and founded DarksideCostumes, a venture focused on costume and prop making, offering handmade creations and resources for costumers.
