Chung Tan

Chung Tan, CEcD, EDFP, serves as the Deputy Director for the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, since July 2019, focusing on economic development in the retail and hospitality sectors, including recruitment, retention, expansion, and entrepreneurial development. Previously, Chung Tan was the Chief Economic Development Officer at the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce from September 2009 to July 2019, where responsibilities included attracting businesses, assisting local companies with expansion, fostering entrepreneurship, and developing infrastructure. Earlier experience includes working as an Economic Development Professional for the City of Monterey Park, CA, from July 2007 to August 2009, and as a Marketing Manager at OneCapitol Holdings Sdn. Bhd. from July 2003 to June 2006, promoting clients' products across multiple regions. Chung Tan also served as an Analyst at CoreSource in 1992-1993, focusing on health care resource utilization analysis. Chung Tan holds a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, achieved between 1990 and 1992.
