Ashley Cacicedo-Surdovel

Ashley Cacicedo-Surdovel, M.S., currently serves as Commission Assistant and Community Outreach Coordinator for District 2 with the City of Fort Lauderdale since September 2021. Previously, Cacicedo-Surdovel was Deputy City Clerk for the City of Delray Beach, managing city-wide proclamations and special projects from October 2020 to September 2021. Experience includes roles as Special Event Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County, Legislative Assistant for The Florida Senate, and Election Specialist for the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections. Cacicedo-Surdovel holds a Master’s Degree in Communications Media Studies and Practice and a Bachelor's Degree in American Studies with a Minor in Media Politics from Lynn University, along with a study abroad experience at American College Dublin.
