Kevin Hughes

Kevin Hughes, MSR, serves as a Parks and Recreation Project Specialist for the City of Hillsboro since January 2020. Previously, Kevin held the position of Conservation and Easements Manager at Chestnut Hill Conservancy, where responsibilities included collaborating with property owners, monitoring eased properties, and organizing community outreach events. Prior experience includes serving as Grant Writer and Researcher at Philabundance, where grant management and maintaining funding relationships were key duties, as well as Coordinator-Direct Programs, overseeing the distribution of food program boxes while enhancing compliance and managing a volunteer team. Kevin’s earlier roles include Nutritional Development Services as a Nutrition Program Monitor, managing federal compliance evaluations, and an internship at The Philadelphia Department of Public Health, supporting youth wellness initiatives. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Recreation from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Temple University.
