Douglas Gonzales

Douglas Gonzales currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of Hollywood, Florida, a position held since November 2017. In addition, Gonzales is an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University, specializing in Criminal Law and Court Systems and Procedures since December 2016. Prior roles include City Attorney for the City of Margate from April 2016 to November 2017, and Partner/Shareholder at Weiss Serota Helfman Pastoriza Cole & Boniske, P.L. from January 1999 to November 2015. Earlier in their career, Gonzales worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Hollywood and as an Associate at the Law Office of William C. Stalions, P.A. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) with a focus on Litigation and Business Finance from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law, as well as a BSBA in Finance from the University of Florida.
